Melinda Tupek: Games in the ESL classroom: Using games to learn English is not only fun and motivating, it is also promotes a safe, risk-free learning environment where students want to play again and again, thus deepening their English language skills. 3rd HUPE Osijek branch meeting invitation

Dear colleagues,

I would like to invite you to our third and final HUPE Osijek branch meeting for this school year, which will take place on Saturday, 20 May 2023 at 9 am at the Faculty of Education in Osijek, Room 21 (Fakultet za odgojne i obrazovne znanosti, Ulica cara Hadrijana 10, Osijek).

The meeting agenda and workshop summaries can be found below. As you can see, we are having Osijek branch president elections, therefore, it would be great if as many of you could join us.

The branch president is elected for a term of two years and takes over the management of the branch from 1 September 2023. The president is primarily responsible for the regular 'maintenance' of the membership, organizing branch meetings during the school year and exchanging information related to the work of the Association. Also, he or she participates in the organization of the HUPE conference together with the Board members and other branch presidents. By volunteering at HUPE, you have the opportunity to collaborate with excellent colleagues, develop team spirit, improve the work of the Association, and make new international acquaintances. I’ve come up with and in this engaging workshop will share many fun activities using recycled materials such as bottle caps, bottles, egg cartons, paper and plastic cups, yoghurt containers. It’s cheap, children love them, and they are effective.
