We are thrilled to announce two of our amazing plenary speakers for the upcoming conference, brought to you in collaboration with Profil Klett: Daška Domljan and Ankica Knezović!
Meet the Speakers
Daška Domljan brings over 35 years of rich experience as an English teacher, teacher educator, and HR manager. She is a co-author of a market-leading YL series for the past 20 years and currently serves on the Management Board of the Knowledge at Work (Znanje na djelu) Foundation. Passions: neuroscience, positive psychology, and playful learning!
Ankica Knezović is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business (University of Zagreb) with extensive experience across all age groups and levels (General English, ESP, Cambridge exams). She is a co-author of primary school ELT coursebooks, syllabus designer, and researcher with a focus on EFL/ESP methodology, curriculum design, and digital ICT tools in education.

"From the whir of tape recorders to the ease of AI, EFL technology has moved from the computer lab to the palm of our hand. But how do we navigate this rapid shift with a grain of salt?"
In this session, Daška and Ankica will explore the evolution of the classroom ecosystem, putting wellbeing and sustainability at the center. By embracing ‘digital minimalism’, they will guide us on bridging the gap between traditional tools and AI—fostering enjoyable learning while ensuring that technology serves human connection, and not the other way around.
