Chapter 1
Once upon a time, there was a kingdom where everyone lived equally and happily. Nobody complained and everyone was happy with the king. But one day, two young people came to the castle claming to be the long lost daughter and son of the king. When the king abd queen saw them, they were shocked but only happy that their son was back. They didn't care about about their daughter so she was thrown from the castle and had to live on the streets. The son was so happy that he would inherit the fortune, but he was sad about his sister. The son was crowned as the king and his sister found a job in the village. Soon after the sister got married.
Chapter 2
About four years later, the sister had a beautiful daughter. That is me, Anastasia, and I will be telling the story. When I was four years old my mother told me that I should always fight for myself. One day, when I was walking in the village. I saw a man begging on the streets:
"Can you spare a few coins? I need to feed my family." he asked.
I only had a few coins and I gave them to him. And he said:
"God will bless you with that good heart."
I nodded and walked away. I was always the person to help whoever needed it. When I came home, I saw my mom, Isabela, in the kitchen making dinner and my father, Richard, who was talking with her. They were smiling and were really happy. I alawys wanted to find a love like theirs.
"How was your day?" my mother asked.
"It was good. I gave a man some coins to feed his family."
"That is amazing! You will be rewarded one day for your actions."
We all sat and ate dinner together.
"Do you want anything for your 18th birthday?" dad asked.
"Not really, I just want us all to be together." I answeared.
When we finished dinner, I headed to my room and went straight to bed. I was excausted.
Chapter 3
When I woke up, it was a sunny day, and everything was blooming because it was the middle of April. I went downstairs, and I saw my mom and dad in the kitchen waiting for me.
"Good morning, our princess!" both mom and dad said to me.
We ate breakfast and we talked. An hour later we heard a knock on the door. Dad opened the door and saw the king and his daughter Isabela, who looked about the same age as me. They came inside.
"My sister, I missed you so much! I tried to find you, but our parents wouldn't let me. So ywEsterday I sent a guard dressed as a poor person to beg for money, and I hid inside one of shops. Then I saw her. She looked exaxtly like you and I needed to find you." said king Philip.
My mom was shocked and didn't know what to say; she just hugged him and cried. After a few minutes, Philip explained that their parents, my grandma and grandpa, left the country and won't be coming back, because they want to live the rest of their life in peace.
"So, that means that you can come and live at the castle. My wife is so excited to meet you; she prepared something special for you."
"I don't know if I am ready to come back to the castle and I love my life here with my husband and daughter. But I will come with you today so that we can talk."
Chapter 4
I was so excited to see the castle. When we got closer, it was even more beautiful than I imagined. When we got to the door, a beautiful women greeted us with a big smile. That was Philips wife, Mirabela. Philip led us inside, and it was so big.
"There will be a ball hosted tonight, so I hope you guys will stay for the ball." Philip asked.
"Of course we will stay; this place looks magical." my father replied.
And before we knew it, in a hour all our stuff was moved to the castle. I was so excited to live here. Isabela, Philip's daughter, was named after my mother. She asked me:
"Are you excited for tonight? There will be a lot of young gentlemen to mingle with. I am so excited to see Prince Cameron. Are you going to find someone tonight?"
I replied "I don't know. I am excited about the ball, but meeting a prince I don't know. I never actually talked to boys except my schoolmates. But I always wanted to find a love like my parents have."
"I will gove you one of my dresses for you to wear tonight; you will look beautiful."
She went to her closet and gave me a ruby red dress that looked magical, and she curled my hair. I looked like a real princess.
"You look amazing, so beautiful." Isabela said.
I went downstairs to show my dress to my parents. They were all shocked when they saw me, but in a good way.
"Now you look like a real princess." my mom said.
"You look beautiful, my niece. You can go hang out with Isabela till the ball starts." Phili said to me.
I went to Isabela who put on a beautiful sky blue dress that looked really good with her blue eyes and her blonde hair. She looked like she was straight out of a fairytale. We talked for an hour when Mirabela came to Isabela's room and said:
"The ball is almost starting. You two should come downstairs. You look beautiful."
Mirabela went downstairs, and after a few minutes, Isabela and I headed downstairs.
Chapter 5
When we went downstairs, it was full of kings and queens from all over the country. Isabela spotted Prince Cameron, and she went over to him and hugged him.
"Cameron, this is my cousin and best friend Anastasia." Isabela said.
"It's so nice to meet you, Anastasia. I am Prince Cameron."
"Nice to meet you as well, Isabela has mentioned you a few times." I said.
We talked for a while. Then Philip got on the stage:
"Dear guests, you have all been here to celebrate the return of my sister Isabela and her family. We are so excited and hope you all have a great time tonight."
Then music started playing, and it was magical. Everyone started to dance. Mom and dad, Philip and Mirabela, Isabela and Cameron. I just stood at the side and watched them dance. Then I felt a shoulder on my arm, and I was scared at first but then I turned around and saw a boy probably a year older than me.
"My name is Dante. What is your name, beautiful? Would you like to dance?" asked the prince.
"I'm Anastasia, and I would love to dance with you."
We danced, and it was magical. It was like I was in a fairytale, and I didn't want it to stop. When the music ended, we went outside and started talking; we talked for hours. Then his parents called him, and he had to go home. I was sad that he had to go. He hugged me and said that we will see each other again. Soon everyone was heading home.
My room was next to Isabela's so we talked the whole night. She couldn't stop talking about Cameron and me and Dante. She was so excited that I found someone, and I was as well. Later I went to my room. It was big and cozy. Mom came to my room and asked me about my night. I told her everything.
"It looks like you had fun. I am glad. Get some rest for tomorrow because it is your special day. Good night!"
"Good night mom!"
I was so excited for my 18th birthday tomorrow.
Chapter 6
I was woken up by Isabela, who barged into my room.
"Happy birthday cousin!"
She hugged me, and I got dressed. We went downstairs, and I saw a big birthday cake, and everyone was waiting for me.
"Happy birthday!" everyone said.
"Happy birthday, my princess!" mom hugged me.
"Thank you all so much; this really means a lot to me."
"We bought you a present." Dad pointed excitedly to a big box.
"But I didn't ask for anything." I said.
"You didn't, but you deserved it." mom said.
Inside was a beautiful purple gown; it was amazing. I rushed to try it on, and it fitted like a glove. I felt so beautiful. I went downstairs, and we all had breakfast.
"You mom and dad said you don't like big parties. So we just wanted to celebrate it as a family, if you want that?" Philip suggested.
"I wouldn't want anything more than to be with my family." I answered.
The day was perfect; we played some games, and I even rode a horse for the first time. It was so fun. But really missed Dante and wanted to talk to him again. When the evening came, mom called me and said she had a suprise for me. When I wnent downstairs, I saw Cameron with Isabela. When the door opened and I saw Dante, I rushed to hug him.
"Happy birthday, beautiful!"
I was shocked to see him. We talked for hours and was very happy. Then, mom called us for dinner. Suddenly, Philiš got up and said:
"Everyone, I have an announcement to make: as some of you know, I don't plan to be king forever. I want to give my place to someone who I know will rule fairly and treat everyone equally. As some of you know, Isabela decided that she will marry Cameron, abnd they will rule together his kingdom. With that said, I will give my place to Anastasia, because I know she would be the perfect queen. I hope you will accept."
I was shocked and didn't know what to say.
"Of course I will, uncle." I replied.
Everyone was so happy, and i was happy to be with the people who love me.
Chapter 7
Two years later, I was crowned queen, and Dante proposed to me. I was so happy. We got married a year later. I still hear from Isabela, who got married to Cameron and has a beautiful baby girl who she named Ana. Being the queen, I treated evryone with respect, and everyone was treated equally. Two years later Dante and I had a beautiful baby boy, which we named Philip, and we lived happily ever after.
Sometimes the smallest actions can make a big difference.
