It was April 10,2025 when my parents decided to travel to Tenerife. They wanted me to see what it“s like in other countries, or rather islands.Tenerife i san island in the Atlantic Sea.It was my first time traveling by plane.I remeber when they invited me to talk and told me we werw just going to Tenerife, they had made arrangements with their friends so they ended up going with us.My excitement the day before was crazy. My mom and dad“s friends werw traveling with us,which made the trip even more beautiful and interesting.I missed a few days of school, but iz wasn“t hard for me because I knew something special was waiting for me.First we went to Slovenia by car,to a friend“s house, and then we heded to the airport. At the airport we checked in,checked in and boarded the plane. It was the first time I had ever boarded a plane ande the first time I had ever sat in the airplane seat. The most beautiful feeling was the moment we took off.I couldn“t belive it was really happening. That day remained in may special memory because it was the first time I flew on a plane ande experienced something completely new.I particularly remeber how I was dressed that day.Iwas wearing a pink sweatsuit, long socks and hoodie that made me feel comfortable and safe.Although I was very excited, there was also a small feeling of fear inside me because i didn“t know exactly what awaited me.When i got on the plane,I sat by the window. That was very important to me because I wanted to watch everything that was happening outside. As the plane began to take off,I held my dad“s hand. That touch gave me a sense of security and calm. As plane accelerated,my heart eas pounding, but at the same time I felt an sense od excitement. When we lifted off the ground, I couldn“t belive we werw flying. It was the most beautiful feeling of the entire trip.I enjoyed the flight and the moment of takeoff the most.I looked out the window watching the land recede and the clouds get closer.I felt like I was in a dreaam. However during the flight turbulence appeared that really scared me.The plane started shaking slighty and I didn“t know what was happening. Then I held on to my dad even tighter and kept asking him what turbulence was.He calmly explained to me that it wa copletely normlan and there was no reason to be afraid. His words calmed me down and helped me feel more confident.Despite my fear, the plane ride remained one of my fondest memorie. That day taught me that it“s oky to feel afraid, but also that it“s important to trust the people who are with us.For me,traveling to Tenerife wasn“t just a vacation but an experience that made me braver and more open to new adventures. When we finally arrived,we settled into small apartments. In one apartment there was my mom,dad and I, The apartments were very cute and cozy and I immediately felt at home in them. As soon as you entered the apartment, on the left was the bathroom, and right next to it was the kitchen area. On the right was the living room with a bed and a TV. In the middle of the living room, on the left, was the bedroom. When you looked straight ahead, before entering the bedroom, you went out onto the balcony. I really liked the balcony because I could observe the surroundings from it and feel the real holiday atmosphere. After we settled in, we first unloaded everything and unpacked our things. Although we were tired from the trip, we decided to take a walk and see the surroundings. There was a swimming pool near our apartment, but we didn't swim because the weather wasn't the best. Also, there was a shop near our apartment where we went to buy something to eat every morning. That little part of our everyday life made my stay even more enjoyable and made me feel like we were really living there, not just on a short vacation. We didn't do anything special that first day. After unpacking, we went to eat because lunch was included in the rental. We were all very tired from the trip, so it was good for us to rest a bit and eat in peace. We got the car right after arriving at the airport. As soon as we landed, we went to get the car because otherwise we wouldn't have had a way to get to our apartment. After we picked up the car, we headed to the accommodation. That part of the trip was interesting for me because I could look out the window at the surroundings and soak up the first sights of Tenerife. After arriving at the apartment and having lunch, the rest of the day passed peacefully. It was important for us to rest and get used to the new place. We stayed in Tenerife for five days and had a great time during that time. Although the first day was not filled with any special activities, it was special because it marked the beginning of an unforgettable journey that I will remember fondly. Although we didn't have any special plans that first day, everything was interesting to me because I was in a completely new place. Everything around me was different than at home – the air, the smells, the colors of the buildings and the plants. I felt like I was in another world. Even a simple walk around our apartment seemed special to me because I knew I was on an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. I remember going out on the balcony in the evening and looking into the distance. The sea was not clearly visible, but I felt its proximity. I could hear sounds that I wasn't used to hearing at home. That peaceful moment helped me realize how lucky I was to have the opportunity to travel and discover new places. In the following days, we often used the car we were given to explore the area. The drives were very interesting because I could see the roads, houses, and nature through the window, which was completely different from what I was used to. The volcano, palm trees, and ocean left a strong impression on me. Even though we didn't do anything special or exciting every day, it was those peaceful moments that made my memories last. The meals, conversations, and laughter together made the trip special. I felt relaxed and carefree, which is rare in my everyday life. Later that afternoon, we decided to take a swim. Even though the weather wasn't perfect, we wanted to take advantage of the day and at least enjoy the water for a little while. Swimming was really nice and relaxing, and the feeling of the sea was special because I knew I was swimming in the Atlantic Ocean. After swimming, we got out of the water and let the sun and the light breeze dry us. After that, we went back to the apartment to change. We dried ourselves off, put on clean clothes, and got ready for the evening. Even though we weren't going somewhere special, I felt important because we were getting ready as if we were going on a real evening out. After that, we went to dinner. We sat together, talked about everything we had experienced that day, and enjoyed the food. Dinner was a nice end to a day that was long but filled with new experiences. At that moment, I felt happy, peur accommodation a little more. I observed the small streets, the colors of the buildings, and the aceacefuul, and grateful f, and grateful for everything I had experienced. During the evening, r everything I had experienced. During the evening, we walked a walked around o floweround o flowers that grew all around us. In a small square we saw children playing and vendors selling souvenirs and ice cream. We stopped to buy ice cream and sat on a bench watching people go by. I played with small pebbles by the fountain and laughed while my parents watched me. Later, we went to a nearby store to buy water and something for the next day. That quiet part of the evening was especially nice because we all enjoyed the moment together and relaxed after a long journey. One evening, near our apartment, within the hotel, there was a small stage where a dancer was dancing. We decided to stop for a while and watch the performance. It was interesting to watch her movements, music and lights that created a special atmosphere. We laughed and commented on how lively and cheerful everything was, and I was especially glad that we could enjoy it together. The rest of our days in Tenerife were mostly spent traveling and visiting various interesting locations. We visited a water park, a zoo and a volcano, which was very exciting for me. Every moment was a new adventure.I was especially interested in the landscape while driving – there is almost no grass, everything is covered in black volcanic soil and rocks. It was completely new to me and different from anything I had seen before. At the end of the trip, I felt happy and fulfilled. Tenerife showed me so many new things – the sea, the volcano, the zoo, the water park and all the small, interesting details around our apartment. I would like to recommend Tenerife to everyone reading this because it is beautiful. Every moment spent with my parents and their friends was special and unforgettable. I learned to appreciate the little things, like walks, laughter and shared meals, but also big adventures like flying on a plane and visiting a volcano. That day and the whole trip changed my view of the world and travel, and I will always remember that feeling of happiness, excitement and freedom.
