The day that changed everything

Once there was a 11 years old kid named Joe. He lived peacefully in the UK, Brighton. His mum's name was Elizabeth, and dad's name was William. But, sadly, the UK got in a conflict with France and at the end they started a war. In fear for their lives, Joe's family, family Stones, was going to move in Japan, in Nara, where Joe's aunt Victoria lived. Joe and his parents got to Japan without big problems. Aunt Victoria met them at the airport. She was really happy to see Joe and his parents. She showed them Tōdai-ji, Heijō-kyū, Tōshōdai-ji. Nara felt so magical. But then, after few weeks the school started. He felt terrible. He didn't understand anything. Then after a few days, he went to the park, where he met his first friend, who knew english very well. The friend was a girl, named Akari, what means light. She played the violin. She comes in the park every day to practice for a big tournament, in which she couldn't let her parents down. Then some boy came and yelled at Akari. He told here that she shouldn't talk, but practise. Joe asked Akari who she was. She answered that his parents are friends with her parents, so he came to the park with her and he needed to watch her to see if she is training. Then, Joe challenged him to a fight, and he lost so bad that even he couldn't believe it. When he came home, there was no warm water to shower, so Joe went to get the plumber Huang-lee. When plumber came to fix the water, there was no one home, except Joe. Then, Joe asked Huang if he knows how to fight. Huang told him that he knows judo. When Joe told Huang his name, Huang started calling him Wakaki Jo, and wakaki means young. Tomorrow , Huang took Joe to the judo school. They looked around and they saw the teacher training students. They had a motivation „finish your opponent until they can't play anymore! Kill them! Don't stop! Finish them! Make them suffer!“ Then, when the one kid stopped, the coach yelled at him. He asked the kid why he stopped and kid responded by saying that he didn't want his opponent to suffer. The coach slapped him as hard and powerful as possible. And everyone made fun of the kid. But right as Joe and Huang were about to leave, the coach spotted them. He told them if they don't tell him why they came here , they are not leaving. And if Joe isn't signing in, they can't enter. Just in the perfect moment, Huang saw a sign with a competition „Blue Dragon fighters“, so he told the coach that Wakaki Jo will fight in the tournament. Coach just laughed, but said very seriously that if they don't show up, they are finished. After that, Huang told Joe what just happened. From that day on, they trained everyday, instead of one day. That day was the day Akari had a tournament. Wakaki Jo ran in the room where Akari was playing the song, Joe clapped and embarrassed Akari's family. From then on, he was forbidden to have any type of contact with Akari. Huang travelled across the country with Joe. They were climbing to the tops of mountains just to meditate and train. They watched professional fighters, live. They saw a woman controlling snake's mind on the edge of the cliff. Joe was so much amazed by the things they saw. But then, one day, when Joe came to train, he saw Huang breaking his car. Joe asked him why was he doing that. Huang told him that every year on the same date, he breaks the car and rebuilds it untill the next time he breaks it. He does that because, on the exact same date as he breaks it, his son and his daughter passed in a car accident, and that he was the only one who survived. So that is why he breaks the car, and never drives. Joe told him that the sadness can't eat him. He just nedes to stay strong. Also, he said that maybe meditating and training would make him feel better. And it actually did. From that day on, they trained the hardest. Finally the big last week before the competition came. Huang and Wakaki Jo climbed the tallest point in Japan, Mount Fuji. Luckily, the volcano didn't erupt. That was a very risky play by them. And then, the famous day came. The competition day. Joe even saw Akari in the stands, with a banner that said „ In my family, we don't break promises, so we came to watch you!“ The rule was that first one to 3 wins. The first fight for Joe was in group stage, against Haruto, from „Judo school“. Joe won. Second group stage fight was against Yuto(Fuji judo), and Joe won. Quarter finals was against Mikio(Airi judo school), one of the best players in the tournament, and Joe somehow won 3-1. He was losing 0-1, but he made the best comeback. Then, second to the last game were semi-finals against Aoi, where he won. He got into the finals! He needed to fight against the kid who bullied him. Will Joe change his and Huang's life? Joe lost 1st round, and the second one. If he loses 1 it's over. Round started. Joe remembered meditating, and cleared his mind to win! Then, he remembered the woman and snake, so he was like woman and won! He remembered climbing Fuji. The top was the win. If he wins, he earns the greatest achievement of his life. He focused and… Won! He is first! After the tournament, he read an apology letter on japanese to apologise to Akari's father, and he accepted Wakiki Joe's apology!
