It was just an ordinary day, and I was walking home from school when I saw a shiny object on the meadow.
I was curious to check out that giant metallic potato so I walked closer to the ship. The door was open and I heard a robotic voice: "Martha, you were chosen by the GC (Galaxy Council) to explore the birth of a new black hole in the C quadrant."
I couldn't believe my eyes. I've always been interested in space, but I didn't even know that a thing such as a Galaxy Coucil existed. I couldn't resist my curiosity. I entered the space ship.
It was like a shuttle from Star Trek, and to me it was magical. From the inside it looked like it was from the future, it had grey and blue flashing command boards and a special seat just for me!
As I entered, the door closed with a whoosh! I sat in the chair and it was soft like a cloud. I didn't know how to start the ship, when suddenly I saw a yellow robot coming towards me. Oh oh! He said: "Hello, you must be Martha! My name is Roo and I'm your guide-bot. I will help you with everything you need on this voyage."
I was glad I had help an I couldn't believe my luck. Naturally, I learned pretty much everything about piloting the ship and I named it Stardust. Now Roo, Stardust and I were off to space.
I didn't really know where to go but Roo said not to worry, he would take over the piloting and I could watch the stars and other planets.
I heard a beep, but I didn't know what it was. Was it an alien attack? I answered and a familiar face showed on the call screen. I was relieved and pleasantly surprised. It was Jean Luc Picard! The captain of the star ship Enterprise! I was still shocked. He said that he was going to see the birth of a new black hole too! We decided to go together. Yet he knew the universe better than me.
As we continued our voyage, captain Picard teleported to my shuttle because I had A LOT of questions to ask him, and his crew was flying right behind us in the USS Enterprise. He was already familiar with the GC, they already called him before. He also told me that he arranged to meet with Spock on a planet nearby. I gasped! "THE SPOCK?!" He confirimed. I was so surprised! I didn't just meet Picard, I will meet Spock too! I thought I was dreaming.
When we got the planet called Vulcan. Spock teleported on board. The three of us were talking about quantum physics and the time passed really fast. We finally came to the C quadrant and it was time to see the birth of the new black hole. I was really excited. The space was filled with different spaceships. The birth was magnificent. The ship was shaking, it was like an amusment park. I loved it. Another ship popped right next to us, it was bright green and it had a huge letter S on the top side. When we got closer, we relised it said "Sheldor" and we called them.
My jaw dropped when I saw Sheldon Cooper on the call screen. "Greetings my fellow humans, I'm sure you are surprised to see me here but I always knew this day would come. The aliens finally took me! They recognized my talents and high intelligence among the other humans. They needed me and now I'm the captain of their ship!" he spoke. Picard then answered: "Acctualy Sheldon, we have someone on our ship that you really like. You've always wanted to meet him. It's... "Oh I know, I know, is it Steven Hawking??" Sheldon interrupted him, "No it's acctualy Mr. Spock!". Sheldon was shocked. He loved Spock. He said: "This is the day I met Spock, this day changed my life." Spock, Picard and Sheldon then stayed in the C quadrant for a little longer to talk and I had to go home. We set the course to Earth and suddenly a portal appeard in front of us. We entered and reappeare back home.
When I got home my mum just said: "Oh, good Martha, you came for dinner. Please help me." I was a little surprised by her reaction like I wasn't gone for hours, but I didn't mind it. I went to prepare mashed potatoes and I made a hole in it that looked excatly like the black hole. I was thinking about my space adventure.
This was deffinitely the day that changed everything. I found ou that there are other species in the universe. JUst a few years later I was chosen to be the Earth's representative in the GC space committee and now I'm holdong lectures to you, my dear university students.
