It is with pleasure that I invite you to our HUPE Slavonski Brod Branch meeting. It will be held on Tuesday, 24th February, at 3 pm. The meeting will take place at Elementary School “Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić” – Zagrebačka 78, Slavonski Brod.
Agenda:
- Rosie Kang: “HWPL Peace Project”
In this workshop, our colleague from South Korea will talk about a project that encourages dialogue, empathy, and a shared responsibility for building a more peaceful world, which is an important topic in the contemporary society.
- Mirta Kos Kolobarić: “Thinker’s Keys for Critical Minds”
We all know that critical thinking is a crucial skill in education in the 21st century. Due to the widespread use of AI in all spheres of our everyday lives, it has become even more important. Yet, developing critical thinking in our students and keeping their critical minds engaged all the time is not (always) so easy. In this workshop the speaker will present Tony Ryan’s Thinker’s Keys, a tool which can help us and our students talk about and examine everyday topics critically.
- Marija Janković: “AI Tools for Teachers”
In this workshop, the speaker will showcase how AI tools can support teachers in planning lessons - creating engaging materials, and saving time on everyday tasks.
