Meet Our First Plenary Speakers!

This year, we are welcoming an energetic plenary duo from Croatia!

Please welcome Tihana Svoren Kolarec and Adrijana RoĹľdijevac to the TESOL-Hungary International Annual Conference, Level Up!


Get ready for inspiring ideas, positive energy, creativity, and a session full of fresh perspectives from two passionate educators and active members of our sister association.


Tihana Svoren Kolarec is an English language teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. She works in a primary school with students aged 6 to 14. She is an eTwinning coordinator in her school and a member of the Erasmus team. During her teaching career, she has attended many teacher training courses and methodology seminars. She has run workshops in Croatia and has also actively participated in many international conferences. Tihana was a MOOC facilitator and a resource guru on the OPEN platform. She is an active member of HUPE Croatia, where she has served as one of the executive board members since 2017.


Adrijana RoĹľdijevac is an English language teacher at a primary school in Croatia, where she has been teaching grades 1 to 8 since 2010. She engages her students in eTwinning projects, fostering creativity, digital literacy, and global awareness. Her enthusiasm for travelling and intercultural learning took her to Vietnam, where she spent two years teaching English in both private and public schools to learners of different ages and proficiency levels. She is a member of the Croatian Association of Teachers of English (HUPE) and currently serves as president of the Osijek branch. She values professional development and regularly attends and contributes to national and international ELT conferences and seminars.
